Alternative Senior Care is continually searching for ways to show our gratitude for the work our employees do. We’ve often stated that our caregivers are the “heart and soul” of our company. Without them, we simply don’t have a company.

In an effort to express that gratitude, we held an employee appreciation get-together on July 18th from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Caregivers were encouraged to attend at their leisure and to bring spouses, children or even their clients! Food was served, door prizes were given away and the conversations were light and lively. Winners of the door prizes were Sara Ahrens, Jan Leukam.

It’s our desire for staff to feel as they’re part of the mission and vision of our company. At times our field staff tends to feel isolated from other employees as they journey from home to home caring for their clients. This was an opportunity for our team to socialize with the office staff and their peers, fostering a feeling of purpose and connectedness.
