Alternative Senior Care held our Annual Awards Banquet on Tuesday October 23rd, 2018. The banquet is just one of the ways we try to express appreciation to our staff. We are so very grateful for the manner in which our team represents our company to our clients, our referral partners and the community at large.
Awards were presented for years of service and completion of Champion Level Training on topics of dementia, hospice and mental health issues. We also had our first annual “special drawing” at the end of the night. The drawing included names of all who gave referrals, completed champion training, 2018 Heart of a Caregiver recipients and those in attendance at the banquet. Mirradel Cordes won the drawing of $250!!
Both Mike and I lost our mothers earlier this year. We were fortunate enough to keep them both at home until their final breath. It was made possible through a team effort of family, hospice and the tender hearts of our personal assistants. This experience gives us even greater appreciation for the important role that our employees play in the lives of our clients and their families. We are forever grateful to all our employees for the compassionate work they’re doing.
Cindy grew up in Sauk Centre and raised her three children here. She has five grandchildren.Married to Mike since 2010, she keeps busy with gardening and outdoor activities.
