Alternative Senior Care Scholarship Award
Congratulations to our personal assistant Rhianna Graham of Alexandria, MN! Rhianna is the recipient of Alternative Senior Care’s 2016 scholarship award.
To be eligible for this $3500 scholarship, our personal assistants must complete all three core competencies of our Champion Level Training. Those competencies include Dementia Champion, Hospice Champion and Healthy Minds Champion.
This scholarship is made possible by a grant awarded to ASC from the Minnesota Dept. of Health. The grant is structured to provide additional ongoing education for our employees. Education is an integral part of a caregiver’s job performance. Well trained employees are at the heart of providing a high level of service to our clients and their families.
The scholarship is to be used toward a nursing or social service degree from an institution of the employee’s choice.
Lainie recalled her favorite subject in school was Home Economics,
“I always loved cooking, cleaning, organizing the home, and caregiving; all the things we do best at Alternative Senior Care!”
